BITTER MARGARITA

Ingredients

  • 1,5 oz blanco tequila (Adam like’s El Tesoro)

  • .5 oz mezcal

  • .5 oz Campari

  • .5 oz orange liqueur (Adam like’s Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao)

  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

  • .25 oz agave nectar

Garnish

  • Lime Wedge or Dehydrated Lime Wheel

    • Optional: Coat lime wedge in equal-parts blend of white sugar and salt

  • Optional: Salt Rim

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker

  • Add ice and shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds, until the shaker feels very cold and frosty to the touch

  • Strain into a chilled rocks glass over ice and garnish

Adam’s Preference

  • have notes about what you like to do different (e.g., 2:1 cane sugar rich syrup by weight)

Bartender’s Tips

  • If using freezer door ice,

  • mention chilling the glass!
